Probably a trifle late to make my initial introductions Anyhow... I'm in QA, studied aero engineering, and have been flying simulations since 1982. Still remember "Lightning Simulator" for the ZX48 which had analogue controls (keyboard), a gun cam, ILS, in flight refueling, and with it the (completely unreasonable) ability to fly from the UK to (say) Kuwait, and V and N limits for stores and flaps/gear. Oh, the venerable Sinclair! I started my "career" on the ZX81 with the Psion Flight Simulator (AKA "the attack of the moving blobs") and moved on to Apple (FS I, FS II etc.), in parallel on the ZX Spectrum with the Psion FS again ("high res" and color) - it had two NDBs and two airports (and a lake) etc. Then the cool Apache and F16 from Digital Integration... memories.... /Admin

Ohh yea, I had a ZX Spectrum as well. I should try to load the Psion Flight Simulator http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0001797into the Spectrum emulator on my Psion computer. Armin

You guys are ancient!! And so am I!! My first computer was an Apple IIc (cut my teeth on a co-workers IIe -- no disk drive just a cassette tape for storage) and I purchased Flight Sim v2.0 and F-15 Strike Eagle -- the graphics were incredible! On a green Monochrome monitor, I believe I was getting about 5 FPS and would have to move the CH Joystick about 7-seconds in advance of any movement/translation... What a great system that was!!! j/k Eventually, moved into a IBM PC/XT, then the infamous IBM PC/AT - x286 powerhouse clocking at a massive 10mhz in Turbo mode -- or something like that.... LOL!! Finally the USAF purchaed Zenith Z80 computers with a 5MB harddrive -- now there was some serious processing power!!! Those were the days!

Another new guy checking in here!
I played the demo through several times and I finally went and bought the game (thankfully), and now I'm addicted and haven't stopped playing for several hours straight! Looking forward to meeting the community!
