Dont force them, they work very hard, appreciate that instead of forcing them for things

Yeah I know it's hard to be patient, but agree's what marvx said above.
My thoughts going to be great when it does get released :)
The way you see people is the way you treat them, and the way you treat them is what they become.

Admin,

I'm just curious to know if a cause for the "HUD diamond" problem has been identified, and whether it has been fixed for this SP.

GC tells me that we aim for noon EDT, tomorrow.
At least you could release the manual, to prepare us for launch.
Dont force them, they work very hard, appreciate that instead of forcing them for things
I did just ask for the manual (in case it is already complete).
Or are the errors that big, that there might be a need to change the Manual as well?
and IMHO i think, that facebook and twitter are enough to announce news....no need to do it in forum as well...
Where else, when not here in the forum?
Facebook? That will only help people, who are registrated at facebook.
Do you want to force us to become facebook members?
....no need to do it in forum as well...
Than you might close this thread, might you?

Pocci,

We are doing the best we can. The Twitter is a Ground Crew tool and what they put there is their decision. We are not updated in real time about their work issues but Twitter is. Nobody is forcing you to register to any of the other services but we definitely won't guarantee to post the same info on all three media presences.

If you want to keep updated with news you usually buy the newspaper, watch the TV, access the net and get "pushed" news on the mobile, and you don't complain why all of them don't have the same info.

Same thing here. If you want to be updated in real time about things, you should "connect" to all our comms methods. If you donn't connect, please don't complain and try to manage how we make our announcements.

Regarding the manual pre-release - the decision when and what to release is ours alone. Maybe next time we'll shut up and not post ANY KIND of sneak peek behind the curtains. That way nobody will complain  8)

Be cool.

I don't want to force (as Marvx said) or manipulate or manage you in any way.

I just asked if you would please publish the manual in case it is complete.
I just asked and nothing more.
If you don't publish it, it's OK. That is your decision.

Please, where did I force or manage you?
Or are my comments regarding Facebook too hot?

I see a little "danger" in spreading informations in too many "streams".
You already don't like to discuss one topic in several threads in this forum.
(And that is correct.)
But "discussing" one topic (new information about SSM2007) in different forums (SSM-forum, facebook) is similar to that, and in the end you either are double posting all the time (and we are double reading the same news all the time as well) or you have to manage which part of your information go to which stream and which information to the other. In this case followers of only one stream don't get double news, but maybe only part of the information.

Do what ever you want.

Do what ever you want.

That's exactly what we are trying to do  8)

BTW, we didn't start this thread and I see no reason to lock/delete it yet as you suggested. Others find it useful and pleasant. If you don't like its contents then you absolutely don't need to contribute to it or complain about its usefulness.

Hey Admin,
Not sure if you know yet or can release it but here i a question.
This is a big SP. I was just wondering i old on orbit saves will work. Like right now I just went through STS-124 and saved at finishing RCC scan and at the point were you start rendezvous so that I could skip all the burns and stuff and go straight for the new stuff. Will these saves work? No big deal if they don't, just asking. :)

From what I can tell, any SP3.70 save before RNDZ should work, but I'm not 100% sure.

I for one am simply amazed at the evolution of this product.

I tracked it for months, pre-launch.  And I purchased it T+ 2 to 3 hours post-launch.

I don't get to play it as often as I like, as a matter of fact often I just lift off and enter orbit just to get my dose of imagination to satisfy me when I'm space flight jonesing.

I am in my fifty's and I have lived and breathed the entire US space program.  I am a former Air Traffic Controller and I had the privilege of working at Beale AFB from 83 thru 89.  The SR-71 was fully active at the time, and I never suffered from a lack of amazement at the majesty of that Aircraft / Spaceship.

I love space and space topics.  You can see that at my Blog www.BraunsBlog.com.  I also love this simulator.  It is plain to see the love and dedication to space and space flight that drives this product.

I spent $50.00 for this simulation.  I've spent $50.00 on a tank of gas for my Honda, and I've dropped more just for hamburgers and fries when I have taken the entire family out for an outing.  I'll never regret investing in this epic journey of commemoration of the Shuttle Program

I guess the purpose of this post is to simply say thanks, and I'm not trying to imply that anyone who has posted here is not thankful, just the opposite.  It is clear that all members of this forum share a passion for spaceflight and many things space.  I just thought I would add my voice to that chorus.
