a note from Kosmonaut
« on: February 19, 2009, 10:21:02 PM »
Just wanted to let you all know that I am currently out of service due to computer hardware issues. My desktop PC is currently receiving a new motherboard AND video card. Hope to be back flying again before I take off on TDY. Until then, I'll be posting from the laptop..but not flying...:-(

Cheers!

Lame.   :(

I went through this same ordeal about two months ago and it was a complete letdown. I thought I would be out of action for a very long time but actually, It wasn't too long at  all. Hopefully you'll have the same luck. One good thing you got going for you is you have a laptop for backup whereas all I had is a Xbox 360.

Kosmonaut,

Hope your TDY isn't too long (and for those of you who aren't familiar with Military Travel - TDY == Temporary Duty in another geographic location) "been there and done that" way too many times.

Enjoy!

Ah, I get it! You won a vacation to the Caribbeans and you'll be posting from the sandy beach while drinking your Mojo, right?  8)

I've gotten to know Kosmonaut very well over the past month or so. I don't think he would mind that I informed everyone that he has departed for " parts unknown ".

Kosmo had just gotten his gaming rig back and was keen to get back in orbit but ran out of time. I got his contact info, So I told him I'd keep him informed SSM2007-wise.

G/L Kosmo!  :)
