SSM2007 demo on OSX / Parallels
« on: July 03, 2008, 05:40:50 PM »
Just tried running the demo version on my OSX Mac at work. Using Parallels (virtual PC for Macs) it runs quite well, about 20-25fps. The specification of the Mac is

2 × Intel Dual Core Xeon
9Gb RAM (DDR2)
Nivdia 7300 GT 256Mb

MAC PRO :)

I've managed to get 32fps on parallels on a C2D Macbook pro.
I guess that I could have gotten to 50 if I would have ran Firefox :)

yeah, an 'old' mac pro, wish they would upgrade or at least put a 8800 in there :)
Just to clear up something, It's running in parallels with XP loaded as the virtual PC, not directly in OSX.
