Mobile Alabama although I was stationed at Port Canaveral awhile back and saw some great shuttle launches.  Transferred out before the Challenger tragedy.

From here we can see the shuttle launch and the sonic boom. It's a short drive to kennedy. You have to love that.

Its a 45min drive to Manchester airport, 2 hrs wait in check in and lounge, 30 mins boarding, 45mins flight to London, 2hr wait there, another 30mins boarding, 9hr flight to Orlando, 2 hrs in US customs, 15min to get a car and 1 hrs drive down the 528 Smiley
