This tread is based on a thread in another forum. -when looking at a NASA photo, you move the mouse around to get a better angle -you've memorized the pre-launch activities by heart (getting there)

-When you let the Simulation play out as you sleep....... -When you wake up you get right back into it...... -When you sit in orbit, Not wanting to De-orbit. -When you start dissing online FSX fly-fly buddies for SSM2007 ( Thats when I knew for sure )

-When your favorite channel is... NASATV! -When your ringtone is the SSM2007 launch theme -When you finish your telephone conversations with "Discovery Out" -When you say goodbye to your friend: "see you on orbit" -When you use the RMS to grapple the steak -When you're taking your dog for an EVA . . .

-When you watch NASATV and start wondering how they got their earth textures so good looking -When you refuse to go outside your house without your EMU -When you start your car by first activating the communications, then confirm with your wife that all the "side hatches" are secured, followed by doing a cabin leak check by turning on the ventilation at maximum capacity...

-When you are sitting in your car, waiting for the instructions to appear on the bottom of the dashboard. -When you are actually counting down before you drive away with your car/bus/truck, no matter who is sitting with you in that car/bus/truck. You say out loud: 10...9...8...7...6 (now you start the engine and say:) we have main engine start...3...2...1...Lift off (exactly now you start to move your vehicle)...we have lift off! -When exactly after 8 minutes and 38 seconds you turn off the engine of your car/bus/truck and you exclamate: "Main engine cut off!" Now you wait until ET separation occurs... -When your wife asks you something you don't understand, you ask her for the Comm number. -When you put TPS tiles on your car and install a drag chute. -When everytime you miss the right exit on the highway, you are grumbling something that sounds like "missed the deorbit window". -When everytime some mishap happens to somebody else, you say: "Oh my god, what have you done? You trashed the shuttle AND the crew!" -When you call someone on the phone, the first thing you say is: "This is Houston, do you read?" -When you end every sentence you say on the telephone with a "Beep!" -When you do a circle for "heading alignment", everytime before you park your car. -When you install a docking target in your garage.

-When you are going to the toilet, you are not "taking a leak", you are "dumping propellants"! -When you are in bed, trying to find some sleep after another exciting mission, you are not just "rolling over", you do "roll reversals"! -When you are coming home after a good party and you can't walk straight anymore, it's not because you are drunk. No! It's because you are "doing some S-turns to dissipate some excess energy" before you are "executing a HAC" before approaching your front door. -When you bang your head somewehere you say: "Touchdown! Deploy chute!" -When you are not "walking", "going" or "driving" anymore, now you are always "translating"!
